We loved welcoming Tahnee Reed, a Florida-based tattoo artist and business owner who graduated from small-town Nebraska! 🎨
While home visiting her mom, Tahnee took time to talk with some students about creativity, taking risks, and turning passion into a career.
She talked about wishing someone from her field had visited when she was younger, so she was happy to take time to talk with our students. Some of our 7th graders and HS Career classes had lots of great questions.

EV vs. EPPJ Basketball – Tuesday (Home Games)
This Tuesday, our EV girls and boys basketball teams will host EPPJ at home. As a community, we would like to show our love and support for Trent Ostransky, EPPJ girls assistant basketball coach and Athletic Director, along with his wife, Baylee (daughter of Greg Wemhoff, Elgin Public's Principal) and family, as they mourn the loss of their sweet daughter, Livy Jo, this past week.
We invite all EV fans to wear:
Blue and yellow for Down Syndrome Awareness, or
Red for Congenital Heart Defect (CHD) Awareness
Let’s come together to support the Ostransky family with compassion, unity, and love. 🤍

❄️ Due to a winter weather advisory for Hartington, the GNAC JH Girls Basketball tournament will be canceled for tomorrow.
It's time for the Falcons to show the Eagles who possesses the tomial tooth. EV with a slim 5 point lead entering the 4th.
In a battle of the raptors, the Falcons have a 7 point edge over the Eagles entering the 3rd quarter.
EV lady Falcons have a 56-37 "edge in the Aerie" entering the 4th quarter in O'Neill tonight.
The EV FBLA chapter is hosting a sock drive from December 10th through December 18th, and they would love your help by donating a new pair of socks, any size is welcome. All donated socks will go to the Norfolk Rescue Mission to support individuals in our community who are experiencing homelessness. Donation boxes are located in the commons and on the west side of the school near the office doors.
