Congratulations to the One Act team for the great performance yesterday at the Conference competition. The team won the award for Outstanding Technical Crew. In addition, the following all earned Outstanding Performer awards: Irelyn Bearinger, Logan Black, Layce Brandt, Evan Decker, Anneka Furstenau, Elizabeth Kivett, Michael McFarland, Aubrey Nykodym, Delilah Qualset, Emma Qualset, Evan Slocum, and Skyler Tegeler.

EV hosted the 4th Annual Neitzke- Metschke Memorial Battle of the Pep Bands on Tuesday, November 7th. 5 Bands participated including Boyd County, Elkhorn Valley, Neligh-Oakdale, Plainview and Verdigre. EV received 3 of the 5 trophies given that evening.





Elkhorn Valley Choir participated in NVC Choral Clinic at Pope John on Monday, November 6. Students rehearsed for the day and ended with concert that evening. Clincian was retired professor Dr. Lofgren from WSC. EV Show Choir performed "The Middle" for the concert



Elkhorn Valley One Act will be competing in the NVC One-Act Competition on Tuesday, November 14. "North Pole's Got Talent" has several EV actors and actresses that blends America's Got Talent and the North Pole into a great show!! Good Luck EV One-Act!!


The annual Veteran’s Day Program was this morning at 10:00 in the 1987 Gym. Thank you to everyone who came.


Did you know that we have students earning the Student of the Month award each month?! Some of our elementary paras have worked really hard to make a bulletin board that shows the students' efforts at earning stickers for using their character traits each month.
Owen Rutjens and Timothy Osborn earned the award in August for Respect and Alertness.
Sunny Tegeler and Hunter Grosserode earned the award in September for Caring and Friendship.
Hudson Hartl and Weston Dittrich earned the award in October for Courage and Personal Best.
November’s Character Traits are: Responsibility and Hard Work. Congratulations to these outstanding students!





Compassion is defined as feeling empathy for and wanting to help another in need. The 6th grade wrote down ways they can show compassion.
