Due to the weather forecast for Monday, May 6, as well as Tuesday, May 7, the K-2 Field Day is being rescheduled for Wednesday, May 8, at the same time - 12:30 to 2:30 - at the Richie Ashburn Field located by the swimming pool. Please make sure that your child is wearing tennis shoes - no sandals or flip flops. Please come and watch the kids enjoy this fun day!

There will be a Junior High Awards Program on Tuesday, May 7, at 2:50 in the 1987 Gym. The public is welcome and encouraged to attend! The 5th - 8th grade spring concert will be that evening, May 7, beginning at 7:00 also in the '87 Gym.

The Elkhorn Valley 3rd and 4th graders and 5th and 6th graders will be participating in an elementary Track and Field Day on Monday, May 13, at the high school track (located on the northeast edge of town across Highway 275). There will be two separate Field Days. The 5th and 6th graders will have their Field Day from 9:00 to 11:00 am, and then the 3rd and 4th graders will have their field day from 1:00 to 3:00 pm. All students will ride a bus with their class to and from the track.
The rain date in case of inclement weather is scheduled for Tuesday, May 14, with the same schedule. Everyone is welcome to come and watch the students compete and have fun!!

May 3 is National School Lunch HERO Day!! Elkhorn Valley Schools definitely has some fantastic ladies working in our lunchroom, providing delicious and nutritious meals for our students and staff. Thank you Nancy, Kayla, Lori, Katy and ALL of our fantastic substitutes!! WE APPRECIATE YOU!!

Due to predicted weather the boys golf meet scheduled for today (4/30) in Stanton has been canceled.

Good day to end the JH golf season at ACC! Bringing home medals: Maddox S. 9th, Conner P. 10th & Tanner M. 13th. Congrats to all the golfers on improving their skills. It was a fun season for sure!









Anneka cleared 9' in vault today at the Wakefield Invite to place 1st.

WONDERFUL day on Saturday with the 5th and 6th Grade Honor Band students in Neligh!! They all represented EV very well! It was a special day with 6th Grade playing for the very first time "The Metschke March" in memory of Neligh-Oakdale's past band director, Nate Metschke.
