The Elkhorn Valley FCCLA Officers attended the Nebraska FCCLA Fall Leadership Workshop at Wayne State College today. While at the conference, FCCLA'ers were able to tour the college campus and attend sessions about FCCLA leadership development, community service, competitive events, Family and Consumer Sciences career pathways, and domestic violence awareness. As well as, meet new friends from many other schools.
HS Careers class searched for their future career openings. They highlighted what hard skills and soft skills are needed for their careers. This met stardard 10. Career management includes understanding and meeting the expectations for behavior and skills in the workplace.
Parents: Just a reminder that the deadline for picture retake orders is Thursday, October 17. Orders can be submitted online or dropped off at the EVS office.
The Junior Class/Post Prom hosted Elkhorn Valley's "Volley in the Valley" youth tournament. Over 40 youth teams came to Tilden to compete. Our EV teams represented well. Results are as follows:

October 6th through the 12th is NSAA Fall Officials Appreciation Week. Every year, these individuals attend clinics, participate in rule meetings, and take tests in preparation for the season. During the season, these dedicated men and women take time away from their personal schedules and families to provide opportunities for the thousands of student-athletes that participate in NSAA activities.
