
The NSAA released their Multi-Activity Student Award List.
This award recognizes students in grades 9-12 who participate in at least three NSAA sanctioned activities during the academic year. EV has 64 students participating in 3 or more activities! Nice work Falcons!!


The Century Club was awarded a $1000 grant through the Youth Philanthropy Council in Norfolk. The CCC used the funds to purchase 200 board books to give to each baby born at Faith Regional. Included in the bag with the book were cards written by the students.

‼️ Due to the predicted weather, the golf meet scheduled for this Wednesday, April 13th at Summerland has been postponed until next Wednesday, April 20th (same time).

We were very fortunate to have a beautiful day for our NHS field trip! Great group of kids. So lots of news things at the zoo.

The ESU 8 K-12 Art Show is today, April 8th-10th, at the Antelope County Fairgrounds in Neligh. Multiples students were selected to display their artwork. The show is open for public view from 10am-5pm.

Elementary Color Run Information
Date: Saturday, April 23rd
Check-in: Preschool-2nd grade will check in at 9:30 am and 3rd-6th grade at 9:45 am (you will receive your t-shirts at this time). Please enter the school through the 87’ doors on the west side of the school (old main entrance). Locker rooms and bathrooms will be available so you can change into your shirts.
Run start time: 10:00 am for upper elementary (3rd-6th grade) with lower elementary (Preschool- 2nd grade) to follow. If you have students in each section, please choose which section you would like to go with.
If you didn't get signed up in time, but would still like to run, please come and register the morning of the event. Please wear a white t-shirt and check in at the 87’ entrance during your allotted time. All participants MUST be accompanied by an adult. If a student comes to check in without an adult, they will not be able to participate.
We are encouraging families to bring sunglasses to wear during the race!

Due to anticipated bad weather next week, the O'Neill Invite is being moved to April 12th. This day was previously scheduled for the Neligh track meet. EV will be attending the Neligh track meet, not O'Neill.

Congratulations to Carney Black for being selected to play in the Nebraska Coaches Association all-star basketball game on July 25th. This is a huge honor as Carney is only the 2nd Lady Falcon ever selected to play in the game, joining 2009 grad Katie (Rich) Broekemeier


Miss Eggers 1st grade class LOVED our special read aloud guest today!!! Matt Ulrich is our school psychologist and the kids love seeing him in hallway and always want to visit him. Since not everyone can…we brought him to us today!


The FFA Chapter got to work with CVA on Tuesday. They grid sampled the Chapter Field Seed Plot testing for pH, phosphate, & potash samples to determine the best fertilizer prescription for their field. Huge Thank You to Pepper Rasmussen, Jaco Mulder, Cory Bossard, & Kara Shavlik.





Child Development students have been learning about toddler development. Today, they played different popular toddler games. Tomorrow will be spent observing at the daycare.
