“It’s obvious what song this is!” …or is it? 😄

Students tapped out songs from a list while their partner tried to guess the tune—harder (and sometimes more frustrating!) than it sounds. The activity helped students experience how communication isn’t always as clear as we think it is.

What makes sense in our own head doesn’t always translate the same way to someone else—a great reminder of the importance of patience, perspective, and clear communication.

The speech team competed at a very competitive Howells-Dodge Jaguar Jabber today. Delaney was the JV informative champion. Varsity placers were: Mazzy 6th in champions informative and Skyler 3rd in champions persuasive. The speech teams next meet is February 7 at West Holt.
