Results from the District meet: Making it to State for the boys’ team: Waylon Warneke 5th place, and Isaac Eckert 14th place. Owen Vondra just missed going to State with a 17th place finish. The boys team placed 4th just missing going to state by 3 points.
Making it to State for the girls team: Joslynn Larson placed 9th, Teegen Hasebroock placed 12th, Marissa Bennett placed 15th. Katie Warneke placed 17th helping the girls’ team punch their ticket to the state meet and making history by being the first girls’ team to go to state. Congratulations XC runners and Coaches!!
1. State cross country t-shirt orders are due by 10:00 this morning. Order forms are available in the office.
2. There are still openings for the blood drive on Monday October 17. Any student who is 16 or 17 and would like to donate blood, you can get a parent permission slip from the school office.
3. Today is the last day of the 1st quarter of school!!
4. The NVC volleyball tournament begins on Monday, October 17. The EV Lady Falcons are scheduled to play Santee at 6:15 at Summerland Schools. The second match would be played at 7:30 vs. Summerland.
