1. The results of the State XC meet: The girls did well Marissa Bennett placed 43rd and Erica Bacon placed 58th out of 126 runners. The boys team placed 6th out of 18 teams, narrowly missing 5th by 2 points. Isaiah Eckert placed 27th, Waylon Warneke placed 37th, Owen Vondra placed 75th, Nate Halsey placed 85th and Isaac Eckert placed 103. The boys had 133 runners.
2. The EV Lady Falcons start sub-district tournament action tonight. #3 EV plays #2 Lutheran High Northeast at the Norfolk Catholic Activity Center at 6:00. GO BIG GREEN!!!
3. The theme for tonight’s sub-district volleyball match is School Spirit Night: Wear your favorite Green and White!!
4. It’s Red Ribbon Week and elementary students are celebrating with fun dress up days and activities. Today’s dress up day is Being Drug Free is My Jam! - students should wear their PJs to school. Tuesday is Drug Free Looks Like Me - students should wear either the eyeglasses OR sunglasses to school! Wednesday is Drug Free From Our Head to Our Toes - students can wear crazy hair and/or crazy socks. Thursday is Drugs are Scary - students should wear orange and black!!
5. The rep from Jostens will be visiting EVS tomorrow at 11:15 and will meet with the seniors first followed by the sophomore class.
