Congratulations to Carter Werner who placed 5th in the high jump, Kenzie Mosel who placed 6th in the 800 meter run, Adam Miller who placed 3rd in the pole vault and Hunter Bennett who placed 7th in the pole vault at yesterday's Northeast Nebraska Track Classic in Norfolk. Way to go track athletes!!
1. We have been waiting for a nice day and today looks to be beautiful! Since the students met their AR goal, they will turn Mr. Black into an ice cream sundae at 2:00 on the basketball court on the playground.
2. Congratulations to the new Independent Readers Veronica Carman, Barrett Prauner, Axton Dexter, Mason Tiedgen and Cole Parker, as they celebrated their Hall Walk this morning.
3. The bus to Atkinson for the NVC track meet is scheduled to depart school at 6:45. HS and JH track athletes are asked to please arrive 10 minutes early to load.
4. There will be a junior high dance tonight from 7:00 to 9:00 which is sponsored by the Student Council.
5. Mrs. Eischeid and several high school students are attending the NVC Art Show at West Holt today. Good luck to the art students at this competition.
6. Drivers Ed students are reminded to show their first permit to Janice so that she can enter that information into the DMV website. By doing this, it will save time at the courthouse when students go to get their second permit.
