The ELVPHD Risk Dial for Madison County for the week ended 2/21/2021 is in the YELLOW at 1.71, down .33 from last week. The local Meadow Grove risk dial is GREEN  at 1.00, down .29  and the Tilden risk dial is ORANGE at 2.57, up .57.  This week, the overall numbers at school have stayed the same, with ZERO of students and/or staff being quarantined.  These numbers are great to see and continue to be encouraging.  As we transition to spring activities  will continue to follow the NSAA guidance.  This has been updated for outdoor activities.  We will continue working with our local health department as this pandemic continues.  We have 8 school days remaining before spring break.  If the numbers continue to remain low, will look at changing our mask protocols for the 4th quarter.  For the time being, we will continue with wearing masks while at school, at indoor school activities and riding the school bus.  Additionally, we will continue to emphasize social distancing, frequent hand washing and sanitizing.    As we near the end of the 3rd quarter we are inching closer to reaching our goal of staying in school and continuing with face to face learning for the entire year.  As always, things are subject to change very quickly.  As the circumstances change, so will the protocols at school.
