Risk Dial Update

The ELVPHD Risk Dial for Madison County for the week ended 1/31/2021 is in the ORANGE at 2.04, down .14 from last week. The local Meadow Grove risk dial is ORANGE  at 2.29, down .28  and the Tilden risk dial is ORANGE at 2.43, up .29.  This week, the overall numbers at school have held steady, with only 1.2% of students and/or staff being quarantined -  the same percentage as the last 2 weeks.  These numbers continue to be encouraging.  However, although the state as a whole has moved into the GREEN and many DHMs are less restrictive, we  will continue to follow the NSAA guidance for winter activities and recommendations from our health department.  This means we will continue with wearing masks while at school, school activities and riding the school bus.  Additionally, we will continue to emphasize social distancing, frequent hand washing and sanitizing.    As we navigate this pandemic, we are ever hopeful we will reach our goal of staying in school and continuing with face to face learning.  As always, things are subject to change very quickly.  As the circumstances change, so will the protocols at school.
