1. Congratulations to EV’s two state Cross Country qualifiers!! At the district meet held in Ainsworth last Thursday Hunter Bennett placed 5th with a time of 17:54 and Waylon Warneke placed 13th with a time of 18:25. The boys team came in fourth and missed going to state by one point. Nate Halsey placed 25th, Tristan Smith placed 34 and Conner Klein placed 35th. Erica Bacon placed 27th for the girls and Taylor Hasebroock placed 51st. Coaches are very proud of all the runners.
2. Reminder: There will NOT be an FCCLA meeting tonight, as the electronic school calendar says.
3. State football playoff t-shirt orders will need to be placed ONLINE this year. The deadline to do so is 10:00 this morning!!
4. Junior High BMW will have practice tomorrow morning at 7:15 AM. High School BMW will have practice on Thursday morning at 7:15 AM.
5. The first round of district football playoffs will be played at Neligh-Oakdale on Thursday, October 22, vs. the Warriors. The game is scheduled for 7:00 pm.
6. Tonight’s NVC volleyball tournament game at Stuart will be played at 6:15 vs. Stuart instead of Santee. There will be just this game tonight instead of two games.
