Students (and parents) are reminded that they should not be parking in the staff assigned parking stalls located on the south east side of the school building. This is the Commons side and then to the south. These stalls are not reserved for students - they are reserved for EVS staff only. Thank you!!
1. The Jamboree Varsity Volleyball vs Wayne will be held on Thursday, August 20, at 6:00 pm. All fans (including students) must pay admission ($5 students - $6 adults). All proceeds will go to the Nebraska High School Sports Hall of Fame Foundation.
2. There will HS Show CHoir during AC today and Thursday.
3. There will be a Student Council meeting tomorrow morning at 7:40 sharp in Mr. Wickizer's room. Bring ideas for Homecoming dress up days!
4. There will be an FBLA meeting for all current members and anyone who wants to join at 7:40 am Thursday morning, August 20, in Mrs. Parks’ room. This is a change in date!!
5. There will be an informative Esports meeting after school today for students in grades 7-12 who are interested in participating this fall. The games will be Marvel Rivals, Super Smash Bros, Online Chess and Rocket League. If you cannot make it to this meeting, please talk to Mr. Mayo or send him an email.
6. The EV Booster Club sponsored Kickoff Supper is scheduled for tonight at the City Auditorium beginning at 6:30 for high school fall athletics/band/dance and their families. The Booster Club asks that parents bring a main dish and side or dessert to share with the crowd. Table service and drinks will be provided by the EV Booster Club.
7. Friday, August 21, JH will be taking button pins during 8th period with Cory Loomis. Please make sure all 7th & 8th grades students wear an EV green t-shirt or plain green t-shirt along with black shorts/pants and tennis shoes. This will be the only time JH students will be able to order button pins for the year.
