1. For students interested in taking driver's education, there is a new system this year.  Northeast Community College will instruct a class July 14-17 here at the school.   However, students MUST contact the college to register for the class - forms can be downloaded from EV’s webpage or students can pick up a registration form from the EV school office.  The forms will then need to be returned to the college.  Other items to be aware of are:

  1. A parent meeting will be held on the first day of classes.

  2. All students must have their learner's permit before the driving portion starts or they will not pass the course.

  3. If a student has not turned 14 yrs old, they must be 14 yrs old before the course starts the driving portion.

  4. Students have to show up to all class times. Class time cannot be made up another time. (These are the only times the instructors are available to teach the in-class portion)

  5. Students will have 8 weeks from June 6-August 1 to complete their required 6 hours of driving to pass the lab.
