The first quarter of school ends TOMORROW - Friday, October 13. Can you believe it??
1. Congrats to the boys Cross Country team for winning the District meet yesterday in Ainsworth - they are Champions!! Individuals who medaled and have qualified state are Tristan Mcleod - 3rd and Waylon Warneke - 6th. Owen Vondra placed 18th to help the team earn a trip to State. The girls team placed 4th overall and congratulations go out to Mazzy Kuchar who earned a 5th place medal and Teegan Hasebroock who medaled in 10th place. The State Cross Country meet will be held in Kearney next Friday the 20th. State XC t-shirt order forms are available in the office. They are due back to school - with payment - by 9:00 tomorrow morning (Friday the 13th).
2. Just a reminder that State football apparel order forms are due by 11:59 AM today!!
3. Don't forget that the first annual Math Night is tomorrow night, Friday, October 13, from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Families will visit various math stations as well as the Boy Scout STEM trailer. All Kindergarten through 6th grade students will have a chance to win an ice cream party for their classroom. The sign in table will be in the 1987 Commons area, so everyone should enter through the '87 doors located on the west side of the elementary building. We hope to see everyone there!
4. The Junior Class and Parents are having a fundraiser and Falcon Fan clothing is available to order. Order forms were sent home with elementary students and forms are available in the office. The deadline to place an order is next Tuesday, October 17. Orders can also be placed online by going to https://stores.inksoft.com/ev_junior_class_fundraiser Forms and payment can be returned to the school office.
