1. Congratulations to all the track athletes who competed at districts yesterday. Carter Werner qualified in the high jump, setting a new school record with a jump of 6 feet 5 inches. Carter also qualified in the 110 m hurdles, setting a new school record in that as well. He also qualified in the 300 meter hurdles and will run a leg on the 4x400 meter relay. Other members of that relay are Brendyn Ollendick, Mav Hagemann and Waylon Warneke. Another relay qualified yesterday. Brendyn, Mav, Waylon and Dawson Hansen will run the 4x800 meter relay.   Along with winning that race, they also broke the school record set back in 1978 and will go to Omaha with one of the top times in Class C. Nate Decker was yet another qualifier. Nate will long jump at the State Meet for the 3rd year in a row. Good luck to everyone next week. 

2.  There will be a meeting for students in grades 8-11 wanting to participate in football this fall on Friday after school in the flex room.

3.   There will be an FBLA meeting for FBLA sign up for new and returning members, and sign up for summer activities on Tuesday, May 16th @7:45 am in Mrs. Parks room. There will be breakfast, hope to see you all there! 

4.  There will be a girls basketball meeting after school in Mr. DIttmer's room on Monday.  This will be for all girls in 8-11 grade going out for basketball next year. 

5.  Next Monday and Tuesday, the 15th and 16th, there will be NO SALAD BAR available!!

6.  Students in grades 7-11:  iPads will be checked in on Monday afternoon.  You must have a charger with your name on it or you will be charged $25.  The instructions were explained to you in the fall when it was checked out to you.  Also do not peel off the name label.

7. The 3rd graders are getting ready for their Wax Museum presentations which will take place this  morning in the Commons.

8.  The Preschoolers are having a FUN DAY this afternoon and all preschoolers will come to school to have lunch and play together.

9. Parents are reminded to be sure to send lunch money that will get your child(ren) paid up through the end of the school year!  You can check PowerSchool for your child’s lunch account balance or feel free to contact the school for that information.  Thanks for your cooperation!!
