Spring picture day is scheduled for Tuesday, February 16. Students who want to get their picture taken MUST sign up in the office. Not every student will be having their picture taken like we do at the beginning of the school year. Notes are being sent home with elementary students so please watch for this note. JH and HS students can stop by the office to pick up information regarding spring pictures. Please do not hesitate to contact the school office or check out the school’s homepage for more information. Families can have a group photo taken if they wish but need to sign up for this option as well.
1. 6th-11th grade students who are interested in auditioning for the BMW Dance Team should see Mrs. Gale to sign up and receive information about auditions.
2. Congratulations to Carney Black, Carleigh Greene, Taylor Hasebroock, Madison Schaffer, Ashleigh Nelson, Johannah Tassemeyer, Alexis Larsen, Sydnee Schaecher, and Jerikka Simpson for completing all of the requirements and passing the State Certified Nursing Assistant Exam. They are now licensed by the State of Nebraska to work as a Certified Nursing Assistant. Great job girls!
3. Elementary students will have their Valentines Day parties from 1:30 to 2:30 today.
4. The District D-2 Wrestling Tournament will be held in the EVS gym on Saturday, February 13, beginning at 11:00. Fans attending the meet on Saturday MUST be on an active wrestler’s pass list to be allowed entry. The matches will be streamed on Falcon Vision.
5. Driver's Ed will be starting soon. Sign up in the office and get a registration form from Janice Remmereid. Class starts Monday, February 22nd. The registration form and payment are due by Thursday, February 18th.
6. The EV Falcons play basketball in Osmond on Friday, February 19. Just a heads up that the Knights of Columbus and the St. Mary’s K-8 School Teachers in Osmond will be offering a Drive Thru Fish Fry that evening at the Osmond City Auditorium. They will be serving batter fried fish, french fries, baked beans OR hotdogs for the kids! There will be a free will donation accepted and they will be serving from 4:30 to 7:00 that evening!
