Risk Dial Update

The ELVPHD Risk Dial for Madison County for the week ended 12/6/2020 is in the ORANGE at 2.86, which is up .15 from last week. The local Meadow Grove risk dial is ORANGE at 2.86 (up .15) and the Tilden risk dial is ORANGE at 2.54 (down .32).  This week, we  have 2 active cases among students and staff.  We do not have any students or staff currently quarantined as they await results.  We still have several students and staff (3%) that are quarantined due to exposure, which is down .6% from last week. We are hopeful the downward trend in the overall number of students and staff out for COVID related reasons will continue.  In the meantime, we will continue with wearing masks while at school and riding the school bus.  Additionally, we will continue to emphasize social distancing, regular hand washing and sanitizing.  We will follow the DHMs and NSAA guidance for winter activities.  Our goal is to stay in school and continue with face to face learning for as long as it is deemed safe to do so.  As always, things are subject to change very quickly.  As the circumstances change, so will the protocols at school.
