1. Congratulations to the Cross Country runners on their performances last Friday at the NVC meet. Hunter Bennett was the Conference Champion for the second year in a row! Waylon Warneke placed 4th, Nate Halsey placed 14th and the boys’ team received the NVC Runner Up trophy and placed just one point behind the conference champion team from West Holt. Erica Bacon placed 12th for the girl’s varsity team. For the junior high, Marissa Bennett was 8th, Teegan Hasebroock placed 18th and JJ Black placed 19th. The JH girls' missed placing 2nd as a team by just one point. Easton Rystrom placed 4th in the JH boys division. Way to go XC runners!!
2. The FCCLA meeting scheduled for today will be immediately after school in Mrs. Knust’s room, and it will be a short meeting.
3. Picture retake picture orders are due ONLINE if possible by October 14, otherwise order envelopes should be returned to the school by Wednesday.
4. Just a reminder that Thursday is the end of the first quarter of school!! There will be no school on Friday, October 16, for Fall Break.
